“Ambientes Brasileiras ” - a 3 movement suite with its roots in Rio de Janeiro.
The book is presented with both music notation and guitar tablature staff so that fingering and fingerboard positions can be easily cross-referenced.
Chord symbols are shown to indicate background voice leadings and harmony.
There is an accompanying CD (on-line audio recording)
On the CD, is included the song “Samba do Bonde” with Peter Buchan and Joâo Bosco on percussion and drums, both as an overture and finale to the album. A solo guitar version of the piece is printed as part of the suite “Ambientes Brasileiras no 2
Bass and rhythm parts can be added to all the pieces, using the chord symbols as guides for further arrangement.

Guitar at the Priory
